The Story of the Quinta
The history of Quinta dos Perfumes begins in the 1950s with the creation of a factory dedicated to the distillation of mallow for the production of essences.
In the 1970s, with the factory already deactivated, the estate was acquired by the current family, who converted it, planting various varieties of table vines.
Around the year 2000, the second generation of the family chose to convert the existing 40 hectares of farmland into a citrus orchard, one of the traditional crops of the Algarve. Years later, in the third generation, the family decided to create a hotel unit that opened to the public in 2013, Quinta dos Perfumes.
